I have the privilege of having a close friend who is also a wedding photographer ( Melissa Kew Photography ) which makes life so much easier when the stress of the job kicks in and you just need someone who understands. Last summer I got to go to Ottawa again to second shoot for her. I love getting the opportunity to second shoot because stepping back from the front lines can be very eye opening, have you ever seen the show “Undercover Boss”? – Its pretty much the same thing. I get to watch how she works and how we work differently, learn new tricks and bounce off each others energy…… even if its DOWNPOUR for the second wedding in a row.
