When you hear rain forecasted for your wedding day (and I’m talking down pour!) most people would probably panic. Luckily our beautiful bride Katie was calm and relaxed and even asked if we could get some shots in the rain for fun. It started out as a beautiful day as the girls got ready at Blue Forest Lane Bed & Breakfast in Hammonds Plains, the boys at Homewood Suites downtown Halifax. The ceremony was at Rockingham United Church located off the Bedford highway, where they had a Honour Guard for Chris & Katie. We headed to Flynn Park after the ceremony and not 10 minutes in did the sky open up and it just started to pour down on us! We opened an umbrella and just kept on going. The reception was held at the St. Mary’s Boat Club where Katie and her family had beautifully decorated ever last detail.
