Hands up, who has horses just hanging out in their backyard?? Brittany does!!! I couldn’t believe it, I went to check out their yard prior to the wedding to get some ideas and do some location scouting, not even 5 minutes into our conversation I was side tracked by the fact that there were horses there too!!! So naturally I made her introduce them to me!

When you have a backyard wedding in September you really are risking ….. pretty much everything in terms of weather, the weekend before was BONE chilling cold and dreary. Luckily for us it was so beautiful, cozy and warm in the sunshine.

Tucked away on a little road is this beautiful house and yard that Brittany & Alex worked to restore not long before the wedding. Seriously… I was in awe of the bath tub, I wanted to jump in… don’t worry, I didn’t. SO many personal touches went into this wedding; The archway, the bar, the barn doors… everything was made by the bride and groom… talk about busy….. jeesh!

So many laughs were had by such a fun bridal party! Enjoy the photos!
